On November 3rd, the 50MW photovoltaic power generation project of the first supporting energy storage marketization in China Petroleum, Ye City of Tarim Oilfield, was grid-connected in Yecheng County, Kashgar, Xinjiang, marking the successful completion and grid-connection of the largest single-unit photovoltaic power generation project of China Petroleum. The project has an annual power generation of about 917 million kilowatts, which can meet the needs of 350,000 households for one year.
It is understood that the project started on April 30 this year, covering an area of 15,000 mu, building one photovoltaic power station, one 220 kV boosting collection station, and one 500 MWh energy storage station. The project can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 726,000 tons per year, and can realize the utilization of clean energy of about 300,000 tons of standard coal.
