For the week ending November 2, the price of nickel sulphate continued to fall, primarily due to lackluster demand. Precursor manufacturers, facing sporadic orders, were purchasing strictly based on immediate needs and the elevated price of nickel sulphate has prompted a cautious stance. The recent dip in nickel prices has also dissuaded nickel salt producers from keeping their prices high. The cost support remained robust as the raw material discount coefficient continued at elevated levels, which constrained the potential drop in nickel sulphate prices. Moving into the week ending November 10, a modest decrease in the price of nickel sulphate is anticipated, with expected trading within the range of 31,200 to 32,200 yuan/mt.
