China’s Vice Foreign Minister Meets with CEO Of Australia's BHP, Seeking Cooperation in New Energy and Climate Change

On March 27, China’s Vice Foreign Minister Xie Feng met with the CEO of Australia's BHP Billiton. The two sides exchanged views on China-Australia relations and issues of common concern. Vice Minister Xie Feng expressed hope that BHP Billiton will make further contribution to improving Sino-Australian relations, explore potential for cooperation in emerging areas such as climate change and new energy, as well as carry out more mutually beneficial projects.
