SHFE Nickel Trades Up (May 20, 2016)

SHANGHAI, May 20 (SMM) – SHFE 1609 nickel started at RMB 68,190/mt overnight and once fell to RMB 67,770/mt. The contract later ranged RMB 68,300-68,500/mt before closing at RMB 68,350/mt.

SHFE 1609 nickel opened at RMB 68,430/mt on Friday and then moved higher to RMB 68,820/mt before ending at RMB 68,520/mt, up 0.25%. Trading volumes were down 62,634 to 248,000 lots and positions were down 4,216 to 628,000.
