[SMM Nickel News] Indonesia Plans to Establish Metal Exchange to Boost Nickel Mining Industry Development
At the 9th Asia-Pacific Stainless Steel Industry Conference, Meidy Katrin, Secretary-General of the Indonesian Nickel Miners Association (APNI), revealed that discussions have been held with officials from Indonesia's Ministry of Trade regarding the establishment of an Indonesian Metal Exchange in the country. It is reported that the newly appointed Minister of Trade has expressed approval for this plan and has agreed to push forward with the project. This initiative will bring new development opportunities to Indonesia's nickel mining industry, further consolidating its important position in the global metal market, and at the same time providing more trading opportunities for both domestic and foreign investors.
