The second phase of the Huadian Tibet Caipeng Photovoltaic Power Station with Energy Storage System, located in Shannan, Tibet, officially commenced construction on the 20th. The power station site reaches an altitude of 5,228 meters, setting a new world record for photovoltaic power stations with energy storage systems. The second phase of the project has an installed capacity of 100 megawatts, with plans to install nearly 170,000 photovoltaic modules and equip them with an advanced energy storage system that can continuously output 80,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity during the night.
