Overseas demand supports aluminum foil exports to rise again [SMM analysis]

According to customs data, China's aluminum foil exports were 124,800 mt in March, an increase of 27.53% month-on-month and 7.64% year-on-year.
Looking at the export destination countries, in March, exports were still mainly to India, Thailand, Mexico, the UAE and other countries. In March, China's aluminum foil exports to the top 10 destinations reached 77,600 tons, accounting for 62% of the total.
SMM research shows that the overseas market for aluminum foil is relatively stable, and thanks to the economic recovery in some overseas markets, demand may still increase in the future. However, the current international situation is unpredictable, trade frictions continue to occur, and local conflicts disrupt transportation, bringing major uncertainties to the export of aluminum foil.
