Weekly SHFE and LME Aluminium Price Review

SHANGHAI, May 15 (SMM) - The most-traded SHFE 2306 aluminium contract opened at 18,345 yuan/mt last Monday and climbed to 18,510 yuan/mt on the same day, but moved all the way down in the following days, hitting a weekly low of 17,760 yuan/mt on Friday before closing at 17,870 yuan/mt as of CST 15:00, down 450 yuan/mt or 2.46% on the week.

LME aluminium opened at $2,327/mt last Tuesday, with its weekly low and high at $2,202/mt and $2,338.5/mt respectively before trading at $2,204/mt as of CST 15:00 on Friday, down $123/mt or 5.29% on the week.
