Ivory Coast Gold Output Adds 14% in 2022

The world's largest cocoa producer is looking to develop a long-neglected mining industry to diversify its economy. Gold production in Ivory Coast has been rising steadily in recent years and is expected to reach 50 mt this year, with two new mines set to start production.
