SHANGHAI, Dec 19 (SMM) – Heze in China's northern province of Shandong became the first city to ease home-purchase restrictions, after the first round of nation-wide regulations on house purchase began in September 2016, according to a notice issued by local authorities on December 18.
The Heze government lifted previous restrictive measures on the transfer of newly purchased housing and second-hand housing, which stipulated that new commercial housing and resale housing can only be traded at least two years after obtaining of the property right certificate. For non-locals, the time limit was no less than three years.
The abolishment came a year after the introduction of the regulation.
