Zinc ingot inventories in the bonded zone in Shanghai stood at 2,500 mt as of May 19, flat from May 12.
The SHFE/LME zinc price ratio rose to 8.4 as of May 19. The import window for zinc ingots has not been fully opened, but the import window for zinc ingots excluding tax has been opened. It is expected that the import volume of zinc ingots may increase in the future.
