[China Huaneng and LONGi Green Energy Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement] On May 19, according to China Huaneng, China Huaneng Group Co., Ltd. and LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement at the Group's headquarters. Under the cooperation agreement, the two parties will further cooperate in areas such as new energy project development, technological innovation, and industrial application.

EcoPro BM to Convert Hungary Plant to Mixed NCA/NCM Production Line

EcoPro BM announced on August 24 that it is converting its existing nickel-cobalt-aluminum (NCA) cathode materials line at its Hungary plant into a mixed production line capable of producing nickel-cobalt-manganese (NCM) products as well. The conversion is intended to support the supply of high-nickel cathode materials for premium electric vehicles in Europe from the fourth quarter of next year. The line modification is expected to require about KRW 40 billion in investment. EcoPro BM’s Hungary plant, which began commercial operations in the first half of this year, has an annual production capacity of 54,000 mt, enough to supply batteries for around 600,000 electric vehicles.
