On June 28, the construction of the Gushanliang 3GW/12.8GWh ESS Power Station Project commenced in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. This project marks a significant milestone in the development of the new energy industry in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and serves as a vivid demonstration of implementing the national "dual carbon" strategy and promoting the transition to green energy. According to reports, the project is located in Engbe Town, Dalate Banner, Inner Mongolia, with a total investment of 11.2 billion yuan, covering an area of approximately 1,100 mu. It is jointly invested and constructed by multiple companies, involving seven projects, and is expected to be completed and put into operation by December 30, 2025. The project encompasses technologies such as lithium iron phosphate (LFP) ESS, molten salt ESS, and all-vanadium redox flow batteries. Upon completion, the project will be capable of delivering 3.6 billion kWh of clean energy electricity to the power grid annually, with an estimated annual sales revenue of 1.8 billion yuan and tax revenue exceeding 250 million yuan.
