SMM, November 11 - According to insiders, the US government is intensifying negotiations to finalize agreements related to the Chip Act with companies such as Intel and Samsung Electronics before the end of President Biden's term. The US Department of Commerce has already allocated over 90% of the $39 billion in subsidies provided by the 2022 Chip and Science Act, but has only announced one binding agreement so far. It is reported that companies like TSMC and GlobalFoundries have concluded their negotiations, and the final funding allocation results are expected to be announced soon.
