BYD: Total Installed Capacity of Power Batteries and Energy Storage Batteries Reached Approximately 16.519GWh in July 2024" SMM has learned that on August 2, BYD announced its production and sales snapshot for July 2024. The announcement revealed that the company sold 342,383 new energy vehicles (NEVs) in July 2024, representing a year-on-year increase of 30.6% from 262,161 units sold in the same period last year. Among these, 130,000 were pure electric vehicles, and 210,799 were plug-in hybrid vehicles. Overseas sales of new energy passenger vehicles amounted to 30,014 units this month. The total installed capacity of power batteries and energy storage batteries for new energy vehicles in July 2024 was approximately 16.519GWh, with a cumulative installed capacity of approximately 89.075GWh for the year 2024.
