Inner Mongolia: By 2025, the preliminary establishment of the entire lithium industry chain in the region, with lithium concentrate production capacity reaching 50,000 tons per year.

The Inner Mongolia Department of Industry and Information Technology issued a notification on the "Guiding Opinions on the Development of the Lithium Industry in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region", stating that by 2025, the entire lithium industry chain in the region will be preliminarily established, with a lithium concentrate production capacity of 50,000 tons per year (equivalent to lithium carbonate), 520,000 tons per year of lithium iron phosphate cathode material, 1.764 million tons per year of anode material, 30,000 tons per year of electrolyte, 1.5 billion square meters per year of separators, and 29GWh per year of batteries. The output value of the lithium industry chain is expected to reach 70 billion yuan. By 2030, a relatively complete lithium industry ecosystem will be formed, with significantly enhanced technological innovation capabilities, significantly expanded industry scale, and advanced levels of intelligence and greenization, establishing itself as a national important lithium industry base, with the output value of the lithium industry chain surpassing 200 billion yuan.
