[SMM Analysis] Overview of Electrolyte Companies' Holiday Schedule, with most of the time concentrated on statutory holidays.

SMM News, February 1st: As the year-end approaches and logistics are suspended, there are fewer zero-order transactions in the electrolyte market, and prices have dropped to a low level in recent years. According to SMM's research, most electrolyte companies will take a holiday from February 8th to February 18th in accordance with the statutory holidays. In addition, a few electrolyte manufacturers choose to take a holiday this weekend or early next week, and will continue the holiday until the Lantern Festival. Some leading manufacturers choose not to take a holiday and arrange production line workers to work in shifts. According to the statistics so far, about four-fifths of the companies choose to take a holiday in accordance with the statutory holidays.

In recent weeks, the price of electrolyte has remained stable, and the transaction volume has been light. Some battery manufacturers have started discussing orders for February in advance, and electrolyte manufacturers have also cooperated by producing in advance in January. However, the demand is still weak, and it is expected that the decline in production in February will be significant. Currently, more attention is focused on the recovery of demand after the New Year and the execution of long-term orders, and there are fewer zero-order transactions in the market. In recent weeks, the price of the core solute of electrolyte, lithium hexafluorophosphate, has remained stable, and there is a certain willingness to support prices due to the price reaching a low level and a slight rebound in lithium carbonate prices. However, the downstream acceptance is not strong. The prices of solvents and additives have also remained stable. Most electrolyte manufacturers tend to replenish their inventories of raw materials before the holiday and arrange procurement based on demand after resuming production in mid to late February.
