On December 2nd, the first distributed photovoltaic storage project in Zibo City, Shandong Province, was connected to the grid and put into operation in Gaoqing County. The project is located in Yangjiacun, Heilizhai Town, Gaoqing County, with a capacity of 3MW. It was invested and built by Yangjiacun Cooperative, using the roofs of 120 households in Yangjiacun, and then converging to the 10kV grid. The project is also equipped with 3MW energy storage and 2 AC charging piles, forming a new energy model of "generation, grid, load, storage, and charging".
It is reported that distributed photovoltaic storage can effectively absorb new energy, stabilize the operation of the power grid, and also generate higher economic benefits by equipping charging piles in addition to energy storage. It is estimated that after the project is put into operation, the annual power generation is expected to reach 4.2 million kWh, which is equivalent to saving 1,700 tons of standard coal and reducing 3,375 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, equivalent to planting 93,000 trees.
