Toyota Motor announced on November 1st that it will invest 8 billion US dollars in an electric vehicle battery manufacturing plant in North Carolina, creating approximately 3,000 jobs. The company plans to offer electrification options for all its models by 2025. In addition, after Epsilon Advanced Materials announced an investment of 650 million US dollars last week to build a battery factory in India, the factory is planned to be put into production in 2026. Ultimately, the factory may provide batteries for up to 1.1 million electric vehicles in the US market.
