Hive Energy has secured an order of nearly 90GWh of capacity from BMW's European region, with nearly 70GWh of domestic orders to be supplied by Ningde Times or BYD. If the price per watt hour is estimated at 0.6 yuan, the value of BMW's order will reach 96 billion yuan, exceeding 10 billion euros. It is understood that Hive Energy will initially plan two cell lines and supporting module and pack lines for BMW. The cell type supplied is the flagship single product of Hive Energy - short blade cell. These cells will be used on BMW's new generation platform of pure electric vehicles in CTP mode. In order to sign the huge order from BMW, Hive Energy has been preparing for a long time. "The signing was done in July, and the SOP time was set at the end of 2027.
