SHANGHAI, May 31 (SMM) – Consulting firm Wood Mackenzie issued a report on Tuesday saying that as the output growth of mining giants in Andean region slows down, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) may overtake the world's second largest copper producer Peru in the next few years.
DRC’s copper production is expected to be close to top copper producer Chile.
