SMM Survey of Bid-Winning Module Projects

From May 15 to May 21, SMM surveyed 43 bid-winning module projects at Chinese companies including LONGi, Jinko Solar, and Tongwei, of which 26 projects disclosed the installed capacity. The bid prices were 1.74-1.76 yuan/W; the total installed capacity of bid-winning module projects reached 2,011.83 MW, a decrease of 1,006.61 MW compared with the previous week.

The current procurement price range is stable at 1.63-1.70 yuan/W. As the upstream of the photovoltaic industry chain maintained a downward trend as a whole, the wait-and-see attitude of terminals has increased.

Near the end of the second quarter, the terminal is more focused on the completion of the grid-connected projects before June 30, and it is expected that the start of some projects may be delayed until the third quarter.
