CAAM: Sales Of Famous Brands Passenger Cars In April Jumped 81.4% Year-On-Year

According to the statistics of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in April 2023, the sales of Chinese famour brands passenger cars were 999,000, a month-on-month decrease of 5%, and a year-on-year increase of 81.4%. This accounted for 55.2% of the total sales of passenger vehicles, an increase of 3 percentage points from the previous month and a decrease of 1.9 percentage points from the same period last year.

From January to April 2023, the sales of Chinese brand passenger vehicles were 3.682 million, a year-on-year increase of 18.8%, accounting for 53% of the total sales of passenger vehicles, and the share is 5.4 percentage points higher than that of the same period of the previous year.
