According to the data of the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to March, the total profits of industrial enterprises above designated size nationwide were 1.52 trillion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 21.4%.
From January to March, among the industrial enterprises above the designated size, the state-owned holding enterprises realized a total profit of 589.24 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 16.9%; the joint-stock enterprises realised a total profit of 1.12 trillion yuan, a decrease of 20.6%. Foreign and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan-invested enterprises realised a total profit of 331.81 billion yuan, a decrease of 24.9%; private enterprises realised a total profit of 389.41 billion yuan, a decrease of 23.0%.
