SMM Daily Comments (Apr 6): SHFE and LME Metals Closed Mixed with Shanghai Tin Plunging 5%, Ferrous Metals Fell across the Board

SHANGHAI, Apr 6 (SMM) - The U.S. dollar fluctuated in a narrow range today. As of 15:04 CST, the U.S. dollar index rose 0.04%.

As of 15:04, Brent and WTI oil fell by about 0.5%. As of the close of the intraday trading, SHFE lead rose 0.13%, SHFE aluminium fell 0.69%, SHFE copper dipped 0.94%, SHFE zinc dropped 1.75%, SHFE nickel tumbled 2.79%, and SHFE tin plummeted 5%.

Coke fell by 2.5%, stainless steel fell by 1.84%; rebar and hot-rolled coils fell by about 1.5%; iron ore and coking coal fell by about 1%.
Most of LME base metals rose. As of 15:20 CST, only LME nickel fell by 1.35%. LME copper and aluminium rose by about 0.7%, lead rose by 0.33%, and zinc and tin rose by about 0.1%.
