Two Sessions: To Strengthen the Protection of Key Mineral Resources and Encourage the Development of Solid-State Batteries

SHANGHAI, Mar 8 (SMM) - Li Liangbin, deputy to the National People's Congress and chairman of Ganfeng Lithium, puts forward a number of suggestions, including focusing on the supply of raw materials, the research and development of high-safety and low-temperature resistant solid-state batteries, etc. Li Liangbin suggests that the government provides resource support or sharing for enterprises looking for high-quality mines around the world, so as to improve the investment and construction efficiency of China’s overseas projects. At the same time, under the premise of ensuring sustainable development, the nation shall accelerate the investment in the exploration and development of domestic resource projects. In addition, China shall vigorously develop lithium battery recycling technology and improve corresponding regulations.
