SHANGHAI, Dec 15 (SMM) – The total inventory of HRC across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 2.44 million mt as of December 15, up 1,600 mt or 0.07% from a week ago, a decrease of 18.38% on the year.
The inventory across social warehouses was 1.49 million mt, down 8,700 mt or 0.58% from the previous week, a drop of 30.97% on the year.
The in-plant inventory of steel makers totalled 952,500 mt, up 10,300 mt or 1.09% on the week, and a gain of 14.06% on the year.
