SHANGHAI, Oct 27 (SMM) - On October 27, the average price of spot EMM in the main producing regions in China stood at 15,600-15,800 yuan/mt, flat from the previous trading day. The FOB prices stabilised at $2,250-2,300/mt. With the expectation of production resumption in the future, the EMM prices declined slightly, but due to the relatively concentrated supply of goods, the price drop was limited. At present, buyers and sellers are wrestling over the prices. The buyers mainly purchase on rigid demand, and the short-term prices experienced no great fluctuations. The market shall pay attention to the future trend of steel bids and the change of supply after large factories resume their production.
EMM Prices Experience no Great Fluctuations amid the Game Between Buyers and Sellers
