 The average operating rate of blast furnaces lost 0.37 percentage point from a week ago to 94.35% as of September 14, according to SMM survey.

SHANGHAI, Sep 14 (SMM) - The average operating rate of blast furnaces lost 0.37 percentage point from a week ago to 94.35% as of September 14, according to SMM survey. The utilisation rate of blast furnace capacity stood at 94%, down 1.13 percentage points from the previous week. The average daily pig iron output of steel mills in SMM samples declined 18,500 mt week-on-week to 2.2575 million mt. Therefore, the average daily pig iron output of all domestic steel mills was estimated at 2.6875 million mt, down 22,000 mt on the week.
