EMM Plants Held their Prices Firm Because of the High Bid Prices

On August 24, the average price of spot EMM in the main producing regions across China stood at 14,500-14,700 yuan/mt, up 100 yuan/mt from the previous trading day.

SHANGHAI, Aug 24 (SMM) - On August 24, the average price of spot EMM in the main producing regions across China stood at 14,500-14,700 yuan/mt, up 100 yuan/mt from the previous trading day. FOB prices moved between $2,200-2,250/mt steadily. Boosted by the high bid prices, EMM plants have raised their quotes for two trading days. SMM research showed that quotes from plants were generally close to 15,300 yuan/mt, but the buyers were cautious about the purchases.
