SHANGHAI, July 26 (SMM) - World Steel Association data show that in June 2022, the crude steel output of 64 countries in the World Steel Association stood at 158.1 million mt, a decrease of 5.9% year on year.
The crude steel output in Africa stood at 1.2 million mt in June 2022, down 18.7% on the year; The crude steel output in Asian and Oceania was 118.8 million mt, down 3.1% on the year; The output of EU (27) was 11.8 million mt in June, a decrease of 12.2% year on year; The crude steel output of other countries in June stood at 3.8 million mt, down 10.9% on the year; The crude steel output of Middle East stood at 3.4 million mt, down 5% on the year; The crude steel output of North America stood at 9.6 million mt, down 2.4% on the year; The crude steel output of Russia, CIS and Ukraine was 5.9 million mt, down 34.3% on the year; The output in South America was 3.7 million mt, down 4.9% on the year;

Asia and Oceania: Australia, China, India, Japan, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam
CIS: Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan

China's crude steel output was 90.7 million mt, a decrease of 3.3% year on year;
India 10 million mt, up 6.3% on the year;
Japan 7.4 million mt, down 8.1% on the year;

South Korea 5.6 million mt, down 6.0% on the year;
Germany 3.2 million mt, down 7.0% on the year;
Turkey 2.9 million mt, down 13.1% on the year;
Brazil 2.9 million mt, down 6.1% on the year;
Iran 2.2 million mt, down 10.8% on the year.
