CISA Released Data on China Crude Steel, Pig Iron and Finished Steel Output during July 11-20

SHANGHAI, Jul 26 (SMM) - Major Chinese steel companies produced 20.38 million mt of crude steel, 19.01 million mt of pig iron and 19.95 million mt of finished steel from July 11 to July 20, according to the China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).

Based on the output of major Chinese steel companies, the CISA estimates that China’s crude steel, pig iron and finished steel output stood at 28.37 million mt, 24.64 million mt, and 37.69 million mt respectively from July 11 to July 20. The daily average output of crude steel and pig iron is estimated to have fallen 1.21% and 0.58% from July 1-10 to 2.84 million mt and 2.46 million mt, while that of finished steel may have increased 0.71% to 3.77 million mt.
