SHANGHAI, Jul 21 (SMM) – The total inventory of HRC across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 3.99 million mt as of July 21, up 2,200 mt or 0.06% on the week, a decrease of 1.63% on the year.

The inventory across social warehouses was 2.95 million mt, down 3,200 mt or 0.11% from the previous week, a drop of 2.49% on the year.

The in-plant inventory of steel makers totalled 1.04 million mt, up 5,500 mt or 0.53% on the week, and an increase of 0.89% on the year.
