The high-carbon ferrochrome in Inner Mongolia was quoted at 8,750--8,900 yuan/mt (Cr50%) today, flat from the previous trading day. The prices of coke finished the third round of decrease and may fall further.

SHANGHAI, July18 (SMM) - The high-carbon ferrochrome in Inner Mongolia was quoted at 8,750--8,900 yuan/mt (Cr50%) today, flat from the previous trading day. The prices of coke finished the third round of decrease and may fall further. At the same time, chrome ore prices gradually fell, hence the cost support weakened. Recently, the transactions of ferrochrome were not smooth and the in-plant inventory accumulated. Some factories shipped at low prices for the fun return.
