SHANGHAI, Apr 28 (SMM) - Premiums of #0 zinc were 27,860-27,910 yuan/mt for mainstream brands,140 yuan/mt higher than the premiums in Shanghai. On one hand, approaching the May Day holiday, the downstream restocking demand heated the inquiry in the market today. On the other hand, due to the difficulty of delivery in Shanghai, traders were more active in the Ningbo market. Traders held diverged opinions about the quotations. Some traders dumped their goods for cash, and the Haulian zinc was quoted at discounts of 390-450 yuan/mt and quickly sold out. However, some traders still held firm to their quotes. Quotes, especially for Huize and other brands, were about 250 yuan/mt, and the quotes for Qilin also raised to about 190 yuan/mt, and the transactions were also good. On the whole, the transactions and trading volume in the Ningbo market were getting warmer.
