Pilbara's first auction results in 2022 came out with a price of $5,650/mt.

SHANGHAI, Apr 28 (SMM) - Pilbara, an Australian lithium miner, held the first lithium concentrate auction in 2022 on April 27, Beijing time. The auction price was $5,650/mt, which was in line with market expectations. The auction totalled 5,000 mt. According to the calculation, the cost of lithium carbonate is about 400,000 yuan/mt combined with the ocean freight of $90/mt.

The quantity is 33 metric tons (subject to the seller's actual quantity), with dobie packaging. The delivery method is buyer pickup, with freight borne by the buyer. Transportation must comply with national regulations using fully licensed hazardous chemical vehicles. The buyer must pick up the goods before April 20, 2026, at the delivery location of Shandong Humon Smelting Co., Ltd.
