SHANGHAI, Apr 27 (SMM) - Guangxi’s Development and Reform Commission issued a notice on the implementation of tiered electricity prices for aluminum smelters in 2021.

SHANGHAI, Apr 27 (SMM) - Guangxi’s Development and Reform Commission issued a notice on the implementation of tiered electricity prices for aluminium smelters in 2021.

A total of six aluminium smelters, namely Guangxi Hualei New Materials Co., Ltd., Guangxi Xinfa Aluminium and Electricity Co., Ltd., Guangxi Baise Yinhai Aluminium Co., Ltd., Guangxi Baikuang Aluminium Co., Ltd., Guangxi Xiangji Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd. , and Guangxi Laibin Yinhai Aluminium Co., Ltd., were not subject to tiered electricity prices last year as their average consumption of current electricity in aluminium liquid production did not exceed 13,700 kwh/mt last year.
