Weak Purchasing in Terminals Narrowed the Quotation Range of EMM Plants

SHANGHAI, Apr 25 (SMM) - On April 25, the average price of EMM in the main producing areas in China slightly dropped by 50 yuan/mt to 15,700-16,200 yuan/mt compared with last Friday, and the average price of FOB temporarily stabilised at $2,550-2,650/mt. In late April, the daily output of domestic EMM plants reached around 3,800 mt. However, at the beginning of this week, the weak purchasing in terminals narrowed the quotation range of EMM plants. Some plants have chosen to reduce their quotations for shipment. SMM expects that the market prices of EMM will run steadily at the end of April.
