SHANGHAI, Apr 22 (SMM) – The total inventory of rebar across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 12.01 million mt as of Thursday April 21, down 221,300 mt or 1.8% on the week, and down 8.3% from the same period last year.

The inventory across social warehouses was 8.57 million mt, a decrease of 194,600 mt or 2.22% on the week, and a drop of 7.6% on the year.

The in-plant inventory stood at 3.44 million mt, down 26,700 mt or 0.8% on the week, and down 10.1% on the year.
