SHANGHAI, Apr 20(SMM) - Photovoltaic giants Yangguang Power released its report for the first quarter of 2022. During the first quarter, the company realised operating income of 4.568 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 36.48%; net profit of 411 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.26%. The basic earnings per share was 0.28 yuan. On the same day, Yangguang Power released its 2021 annual report. In 2021, the company achieved operating income of 24.137 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 25.15%. Net profit attributable to parent company stood at 1.583 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 19.01%. Net profit attributable to parent company excluding non-recurring gains and losses was 1.335 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 27.72%. The basic earnings per share was 1.08 yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 19.40%. As the results did not meet expectations, Yangguang Power has hit limit down as of the published date.
