SHANGHAI, Feb 23 (SMM) – The Ministry of Ecology and Environment announced that in 2021, China’s 145 million mt of steel production capacity completed the ultra-low emission transformation of the whole process.

About 4.2 million households using coal in north China have been remedied. In addition, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment has also promoted the supervision of air quality improvement in key areas. It continues to carry out comprehensive air pollution control actions in autumn and winter, and the ozone control in summer. The increase in ozone concentration has been effectively curbed.
