The green manufacturing list of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has been released! The number of "green factories" in China's iron and steel enterprises has increased to 91.

On January 21, the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology published the final green manufacturing list for 2021. Among them, there are 662 green factories, 989 kinds of green design products, 52 green industrial parks and 107 green supply chain management enterprises. According to the list, there are 22 "green factories" of iron and steel enterprises identified in 2021. Shougang Changzhi Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., Shandong Iron and Steel Group Rizhao Co., Ltd., Guangdong Shaogang Songshan Co., Ltd., Shaanxi Hanzhong Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. are all on the list. Up to now, the list of "green factories" of China's iron and steel enterprises has increased to 91.

Circular of the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on the publication of the list of Green Manufacturing in 2021

In order to implement the "14th five-year Plan for Industrial Green Development" and strengthen the benchmarking of green manufacturing, through the procedures of self-evaluation, third-party evaluation, evaluation and confirmation of local industrial and information competent departments, expert argumentation, publicity and other procedures, the 2021 green manufacturing list is hereby published. Among them, there are 662 green factories, 989 kinds of green design products, 52 green industrial parks and 107 green supply chain management enterprises. The relevant notice is as follows:

I. the competent departments of industry and information technology in various localities should strengthen the connection between the green manufacturing list and the relevant industrial policies, play an exemplary role on a point-by-point basis, and lead the green transformation of the manufacturing industry in the region.

Second, the units on the green manufacturing list of our department should display and publicize the advanced green manufacturing technologies and typical practices through public channels before the end of April every year, and encourage the annual release of enterprise green and low-carbon development reports.

3. Enterprises listed on the list of green factories of our Ministry shall declare their green manufacturing level indicators on the "Green Manufacturing Public Service platform" before March 15, 2022, and make self-declaration (update) on the green manufacturing level indicators of the previous year before January 15 and July 15 of each year in the future, to show the advanced experience and typical practices of green manufacturing.

Fourth, our department will further strengthen the supervision and management of the green manufacturing list, timely review the green manufacturing list units, improve the dynamic management mechanism of the list, and remove the units that no longer meet the requirements of green manufacturing evaluation. Conduct spot checks on the evaluation work of third-party organizations, and after verification of the evaluation institutions with serious bad behavior, our department will no longer accept the evaluation reports issued by them within a certain period of time.
