National Railway Administration: Thermal Coal Transmission Volume Remains High, and the Inventory at Direct Power Supply Plants Keeps More Than 7 Days

SHANGHAI, Nov 9 (SMM) - National Railway Group has resolutely implemented the national electricity and coal supply requirements, and has carried out a special operation to ensure the supply of coal for power generation and heating this winter and next spring. The amount of thermal coal delivery continues to run at a high level for the sake of livelihood. The group sent 157 million mt of thermal coal, up 26.8% YoY from October 1 to November 8. As of November 8, the average days of coal storage across 363 railway power plants reached 21.8 days, an increase of 7.8 days from the end of September. The direct power plants with coal storage days of less than 7 days were eliminated.
