SHANGHAI, Oct 27 (SMM) – According to the China National Coal Association, the coal output is gradually rebounding. The coal supply for the key power generation plants across China has been higher than the consumption for 20 days. The national measures for ensuring the supply in winter are taking effect.
Zhang Hong, a spokesperson for the China National Coal Association, said that in recent times, the coal production has gradually expanded, and the point-to-point supply level has increased. Now the daily supply of coal is already higher than the daily consumption. In the future, as the inventory increases, the tight coal supply will be alleviated.
As of October 24, the coal inventory across the key power plants in China have reached 95.69 million mt, an increase of 17 million mt from the end of September. The inventory days are more than 17 days, far above the 7-day warning line.
