SHANGHAI, Oct 14 (SMM) - Sun Qingguo, director of the Safety Department of the State Administration of Mine Safety, said that they have inspected 976 coal mines one by one. Among them, 153 coal mines meet the safety conditions and is qualified to offer steady supply, adding around 220 million mt of annual production capacity. Therefore, it is expected that there will be 55 million mt of coal flowing into the market in the fourth quarter, with the average daily production going up by 600,000 mt, which is likely to play a key role in mitigating supply shortage and stabilising coal prices.
