China HRC Inventory Up 3.3% from Sep 30

SHANGHAI, Oct 8 (SMM) – SMM data showed that HRC stocks across social warehouses and steel makers rose 119,800 mt or 3.3% on the week, but down 13.63% than a year ago, to 3.75 million mt as of October 8.

Inventories across social warehouses increased 37,100 mt or 1.33% week on week to 2.82 million mt. This was 7.88% lower than the same period last year.

Stocks at Chinese steel makers came in at 929,400 million mt, up 82,700 mt or 9.77% week on week but down 27.39% year on year.
