According to the report, the company achieved a total operating income of 524 million yuan in the first half of the year, an increase of 39.01% over the same period last year. The net profit belonging to shareholders of listed companies was 121 million yuan, an increase of 146.74% over the same period last year.

According to the financial report, during the reporting period, the revenue from non-ferrous metal mining and separation business accounted for 88.58% of the operating income in the same period, and became the main source of performance of the company.

Public data show that Guocheng Mining is mainly engaged in the mining and selection of lead, zinc and other non-ferrous metals and silver and other precious metals, and on this basis to carry out mine comprehensive utilization and other business. Therefore, the company's operating performance is closely related to the production and sales performance of its own products, market prices and the cost of non-ferrous metal mining business.

During the reporting period, the company mined a total of 1.2628 million tons of all kinds of ores and sold a total of 24273.68 tons of metal concentrates. And it is worth mentioning that the price of non-ferrous metals continued to rise in the first half of 2021, and under the influence of the market, the average sales prices of the company's main products, such as lead concentrate, zinc concentrate and silver concentrate, increased to varying degrees compared with the same period in 2020. Against this background, the company's net profit in the first half of the year also increased significantly.

In addition, the company also completed the merger and acquisition project of Shuangjianzishan Silver-lead Mine in Yubang Mining during the reporting period. It is reported that the mine is currently the largest silver mine discovered in China, and its silver metal reserves rank first in Asia and seventh in the world.

Under the positive background of today's continued strength of the non-ferrous metals sector and good results, Guocheng Mining rose more than 8.57% in intraday trading today. By the close of noon, Guocheng Mining was up 6.71% at 12.57 yuan per share.
