New Stainless Steel Production Project Launched in Yunnan

SHANGHAI, Aug 19 (SMM) - Yunnan Qujing Jingzhong New Material Co., Ltd. officially opened on August 18 2021.

The company plans to put 58 production lines of stainless steel pipe into operation, one third of which have been launched. The main products are 201 and 304 series stainless steel.

The 200,000 mt stainless steel narrow-width CRC and pipe project in Shizong County is invested and constructed by Yunnan Jingzhong New Materials Co., Ltd. in June 2020.

The project covers an area of 33,333 square metres and is constructed in two phases, with an investment of 200 million yuan in the phase I. It will build a standardised workshop of 38,000 square meters, 1 cold rolling production line, 1 annealing production line, and 58 pipe production lines.

The main equipment includes 3 cold rolling units, 4 continuous bright annealing furnaces, and 58 pipe making machines, which are used for cold rolling processing of stainless steel pickling white skin coils and stainless steel pipe production.

The products have good durability and heat resistance, and are widely used in automobiles, refrigerators, washing machines and other fields, as well as industrial equipment and various building materials.

Phase I of the project is expected to achieve an annual output value of 500 million yuan, provide tax of 20 million yuan, and create more than 300 new jobs.

300 million yuan is planned to be invested in phase II, and the construction will start in August 2022.

After the project is completed, it will attract enterprises such as dining and kitchen products, colour-coated plates, and hardware products to settle in the park, so as to further improve the stainless steel industry chain and form a complete industrial system.
