SHANGHAI, Jul 29 (SMM) - SMM data showed that HRC stocks across social warehouses and steel makers rose 9,200 mt or 0.23% on the week, an increase of 4.67% than a year ago, to 4.0644 million mt in the week ended July 29.

Inventories across social warehouses increased 45,700 mt or 1.51% week on week to 3.0717 million mt. This was 11.26% higher than the same period last year.

Stocks at Chinese steel makers came in at 0.9927 million mt, down 36,500 mt or 3.55% week on week and 11.54% year on year.
