SHANGHAI, Jun 11 (SMM) - Operating rates across lead-acid battery producers in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hubei and Hebei provinces lost 0.03 percentage point from June 4 to 70.82% as of Friday June 11.
Lead-acid battery market remained in the off-peak season, and the number of orders was largely unchanged. The orders for energy storage companies were stable. The markets of electric bicycle and automobile lead-acid battery were mainly affected by the off-season. The lead-acid battery companies are basically reducing production, while the operating rates in Jiangsu and Jiangxi rebounded slightly, mainly because several companies resumed normal work from the holiday at the end of May. The impact of the power curtailment in Guangdong was alleviated on some lead-acid battery companies. In addition, many companies will have holidays for 1-3 days during the Dragon Boat Festival, and most small and medium scale automobile lead-acid battery companies will have holidays for 3 days.
